Welcome to the Antwerp City Museums Image Bank. The Image Bank currently holds 5,000 ready-to-print digital images.

There are various ways to carry out searches in the Image Bank (normal search and advanced search functions or via the icons on the homepage). The images can be zoomed to detail level. Selections can be stored in personalised folders, and pictures and prints can be ordered online.

The user licences relating to the reproductions in the Image Bank are administered by Collectiebeleid Musea Stad Antwerpen [Antwerp City Museums Collection Administration], unless otherwise stated. It is permitted to make prints of the images in low resolution for personal, non-commercial use. For any other form of use, permission should be sought from the Antwerp City Museums Collection Administration.

Antwerp City Museums Collection Administration is an umbrella department of Antwerp City Museums, the body which is responsible for the setup, administration and supply of the material from the various collections. This department has the ongoing task of photographing the collections and making them accessible to the public via this image bank. The image bank will therefore be added to constantly.
